Day Two of Filming (With added morning jaunt)
It is true, we had lurtz for another day, so we thought we would take advantage and head once more out of the city. Sadly Willy could not join us as she was being all responsible and working, but the three of us were not lonely for we had the lovely Elaine to keep us company (who you may remember from such previous posts as Concert of Mount Cook). We decided, seeing as it was a beautiful day, to head over the bay to Eastbourne and take a walk along the coast. Below you see the stunning view of the snow covered mountains on south island. It looked so close, and somewhat unreal.
We parked up good old lurtz and headed off round the bay. There was some crazy sheep on the sides of the steep gorse strewn hills, and on the way home we had a close encounter (being in that we were close to it proximity wise) with a ram whom i think we named geoffrey - can you remember Alby? Below you see a pic of me, Sal, and Elaine a little way into the walk.
When we'd walked for about an hour we had a little play on the beach, skimming stones (as demonstrated by Fred) and taking photos of the fab scenery and gorgeous people (as demonstrated by the photos). Black and white mode was discovered on my camera once more, hence the lack of colour you may have notice for the next few photos.
Last, but not least, as it was day two of filming, here is one sneaky snapshot of a location used in our spectacular. Points for guessing what scene we filmed here?

Why don't I ever remember to use the black-and-white mode on my camera?!
And, my, what a lot of blogging you've done since I last caught up on here!
