    Hey Sally!
We haven't abandoned you! I haven't written anything up 'til now because i'm so jealous of all th photos of lovely weather on your site! (Plus i have never "blogged" before...) So anyway, i hope you are having a great time (you certainly appear to be).
    Lesley,
PS. Was thinking of you the other day... Do you know Sheffield has its very own food outlet called "Pirate Pastries"?? It has a jolly rodger and everything!!!

...... and sad sally and crying kt - what have you got to be sad about? Try being stuck in this freezing office with WORK to do (a foreign concept to you I understand!)

    Hey Sally!

Have only just realised that we can leave comments on this thing...D'oh! You seem to be having the most fantastic time and I, of course, am stupendously jealous! (I just wanted to use the word stupendously!)I am especially jealous of Katie's skydive. You know I've been meaning to do one for ages!

You'll be pleased to know that it's the coldest it's ever been here this time of year. Very freezing temperatures overnight and heaps and heaps of snow, bah!! Fred and laura have certainly picked the right time to come and join you guys.

Anyway, carry on having such a brilliant time. Take care and I'll talk to you soom. Well, talk in a digitally encodable fashion of course! Oh, and we got your protcards, thanks! But why did that one scream Alan at you?!

    Al.

By the way, is right fred Fred Sked?! Seems like the kind of comment he'd make? I'll go now and stop clogging up your page with my nonsensical ravings.

Thanks you guys for all your comments!! It's great to know that lots of people are reading the blog (albeit in a up-till-now silent, voyeuristic way Alan and Lesley!) To clear things up a little- we have no idea who Right Fred Said is, it is the first time he has appeared on this page. We have had many unknown guests including Boris B, James Blunt, James Blunt's Manager, and others. Mum- the Alan who is posting is not Allan Macdonald but Alan Dodd who you met at graduation, you cheeky monkey. Lesley- I never knew there was a pirate bakery! That's ace! Hope the PhD stuff is going great, and you are having many lunch breaks. And Dodfather, your comments made me laugh a lot so you must continue to comment every day- try your hand at haiku below! S x
