Piratical adventures
I write to you all in a state of high excitement. I have pirate plasters!!! And a jolly roger patch to sew onto my backpack!! After spending the morning sorting out bus passes and hostel stuff, Katie and I took a walk down K Road, a very bohemian part of Auckland with lovely secondhand clothes shops and lots of bars and cafes. It was there I made my epic purchases... Katie actually has a poorly finger so had reason to wear a plaster but I couldn't wait so am wearing one despite having no cut. Rather like Nelly. I think he wore his plaster while his brother was in jail, so I'll wear mine in memory of all you guys at home. I always knew I was dead bling...
Hayley Westenra was lovely last night. The evening was made thoroughly ridiculous by mine and Katie's attempts to talk in a convincing Scottish accent all night. I don't think anyone was fooled. (i'm not sure, i think some were - ha ha the fools! K) Example: Och aye, we're away to have a wee bit of food just now, and then we may go up the big hoosie Sky Tower. See how bad it is? My point is proved! S x (Apologies to Mhairi, Alan, Ali, Allan, and Ainsley) xxx
